Dear Patients & Clients,
With the growing concern surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) we would like to take this opportunity to reach out to our community to remind you that we are here for you.
The Federal Health Minister, the Hon Greg Hunt MP, confirmed Monday morning that ALL allied health businesses nationally can continue working and are encouraged to do so. As a practice, we have considered all our options and we have determined that we will indeed stay open. Our continued role within the health system is now more imperative, and that is to take pressure off the GP and Hospital network.
The health and safety of those that visit the clinic remains our primary concern. We are mindful that as a health practice, we do have some patients who have a health status that puts them at high risk of any infection (not just COVID-19). For this reason, we are reminding you of our practice policies and precautions regarding COVID-19 and general health/ infection control.
Booking for appointments
Throughout this time, there may be times the phone may not be manned so we are encouraging you to use our online booking system. This will extend to including new patient bookings.
Changes to our Pilates (Clinical, Mat & Reformer) and Barre services
ALL group classes will temporarily cease until further notice. This applies to Pilates Mat & Reformer classes, and to Barre classes.
With respect to Clinical Pilates, these will remain however to maintain social distancing within our Pilates program, we are capping to a maximum of 2- 3 participants.
Our Responsibility.
Our unwavering focus is our patients. We want to keep you safe. We want to keep you well. We want to ensure you are pain free. To this end, all of our staff have updated their infections control education and we are putting this into action. We will continue to update our Policies and Procedures daily.
